Dané and Braam got married in Port Elizabeth. I was good friends with both of them before they even started dating. It’s just so amazing to see two people come together so perfectly… I can honestly say that they were great before they were together, but now they are even better as a team.

Kelly-Anne and Julian got married at the Lagoon Beach Hotel in Milnerton. It was such a perfect summers day. I only got to meet Kelly-Anne and Julian on the day because they are very busy people. Kelly-Anne was a stunning bride, she truly has one of the most beautiful smiles I’ve ever seen (I think every time she smiles Julian’s heart melts a little bit). Julian is a proper gentleman and a teddy bear collector (he is also a lawyer, so that’s a new combination for me!)

Elona and Neil got married just before Christmas. The reception was held at Simondium Lodge and the ceremony took place at a church nearby. It was a stunning day.
Taking the couple photos was one of my favourite parts of the day. Elona and Neil didn’t need any directions in what to do. They are so in love that the poses came naturally. They really made my job soooo easy!

Helen and Steve came all the way from the UK to have a very special private ceremony at Bartholomeus Klip in the Western Cape. It was so lovely to be one of the very few witnesses at their wedding.
Helen is a beautiful woman and so spontaneous and in love.

Dalene and Kobus got married in the Grasdak Kerk in Paarl and had their reception at Towerbosch (Knorhoek). This was a very special wedding for me to photograph. Dalene is one of my mom’s best friends and has been in my life since I can remember. I grew up with her girls, playing with dolls and dressing them up like beautiful brides. The first time I saw Dalene on her wedding day she was already dressed and ready to enter the church and I just started to tear up a bit. She looked so beautiful and so unbelievably happy. You could see how excited and ready she was to start a new life with a wonderful man.

Clarisa and Phillip got married at Van Zyls Rus. It was a very special day… They both looked like they stepped straight out of a beautiful fairytale. We took the couple photos at the Kuilsriver Golf Course, and the weather was perfect! Seeing that the winter is officially here we were really lucky; it was one of the last evenings that still smelled and felt like summer before the cold and rain settled in.
